Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate
Well being the look of this thing has gotten so far away from what it was originally supposed to look like, Ive decided to build a leafer for it. I took a few degrees out of the neck & shortened up the goose neck a little. I also got a chance to put some powder on a few more parts. Im debating o...

Re: playing around in the garage
Seems like a decent sized shop congrats man. Course I’m not working on a truck either. I’ve been more off than on myself but still manage to get something done once in a while.

Translucent brass over chrome. I need more practice spraying the brass. If you can see the rear rim is done in the brass. What you won’t see from the pic is that there are areas where the color is deeper due to uneven coating.

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate
Been working on & off, more off than on. The rims turned out to be harder shooting the base/top coat than I thought. I chose another color for now, but will practice till I get it down. Spanish gold will have to do for now. I recovered the seat black. Magneto parts will be on order soon. Getting...

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate
Got the engine together & in, along with a couple other parts. Have to buy clutch plates & try to fix the stator housing. Having a littletrouble on the powder coating end, so its been slowing things down even more than they have been. Should have it figured out soon. IMG_0046.jpg IMG_0034.jpg

Not a whole lot to post about, but I got all the studs & spacers made for the caes & motor mounts.]Also spent a little time cleaning up the cases & trans. With any luck maybe the bottom end will find its way into the frame.

Re: In search of dry air
1st time I fired up the blast cabinet, it was like night & day. The powder gun sprays so much better too.

In search of dry air
I had been struggling to get the air out of my compressor dry enough to start powder coating again. Here is what I wound up doing. A trans cooler off a Ford f250 & pump the air through it with a fan blowing into the cooler. IMG_0013.jpg I picked up a 3 stage filter/separator/regulator. IMG_0014....

Re: The Unholy Virgin...Reincarnate
My fender is mounted. Was trying for strut less, but when I set it up to clear the tire at full suspension travel, it looked like a dirt bike fender. I wound up mounting it to the swing arms. Also mounted the reservoir for the master cylinder. 23D9AB3C-580B-4707-B7E1-6963DCF1D9D5.jpeg 41C77845-49B0-...
