I made full size drawings on cardboard for reference and to help keep things in perspective

True, very true, for us, It wasn't as bad as they predicted. Down state got hammered hard.

We just had some wind and rain, not as bad as they predicted.

Homemade tools, That's what it's all about. Just goes to show what can be done with a little imagination.

Parts of My build were done with "High tech" elaborate tools, and parts of My build were done with basic tools. I find it much more relaxing , enjoyable & satisfying to make parts with simple & basic tools.

I ride as long as it is above 32 F. Leather chaps & good gloves. Also a bandsna called a Wind Stopper which works great.
