Damn good post, I've been running ideas thru my mind about how to build one of these.
Todd Achten built one a few years ago, did some coating for LAMF (Gary).
I think he used elements from kitchen ovens also.
Different enclosure tho.

I've bought my gun and some powder from them, seems good enough...
In the US you can find a really cheap gun at Harbor Freight also.
Oh and I'll post some pictures of my home-built propane oven, as soon as I get a chance to test it..
It's not completed yet (still have to mount a fan on the ceiling) but I will try it first, just to see if it works...

Big industrial ovens are all gas powered, otherwise it would be very expensive to feed with elettricity..

Hello new here I thought I would add that my oven is 4x4x8 12.000 watts , The average cost per 8 hr day is .85.

Wow...that's cheap.I plan on buildng an Oven.Had visions of my Meter spinning like the Griswalds in Christmas Vacation....
