hey Dave , been reading some of ya stuff on S&S .
Im planning on taking measurements of early scout frame and TRYING to put a plan up .
I done the forks about a year ago , theyre on JJ and britchop , theyre not drawings just the measurements.
Im not the greatest at the computer.

I think the blue print project was great .

it would save alot of frames getting butchered . the chout idea is great but the reality is , if everyone wants to live the 40s again then theres gonna be a pile of butchered frames .

Moens frames are fantastic , big dollar (too steep for me) but still it is pretty much the real thing . theres also the SS frames being built in germany or where ever .

1 of the big names in aftermaket HD was supposed to be selling SS frame casts thru ziggys by now

If you wan't 101 style I understand that Heckler sells individual castings for people who want to build a Chout and dont want to cut an original up. The 40 SS rear section is at http://virtualindian.org/9blueprints.htm I never got the front section drawn but I do have a set of photographs with a ruler for scale somewhere. I realy like how the VT frame with a 741 rides. And you can pick them up for less than the national debt. They were really high tech for the time .082 wall 4130 tubing even with the rear suspension it is way lighter than a Sport Scout frame.
