Rear Mechanical Brake Drum Replacement?

Looks like I might have to change my drum soon. Was wondering what brands are best besides me going to the swap meet and trying to find a decent oem one. Do some brands not fit as good with a oem backing plate/ hub? Also do any of you know the tolerance of thickness it needs to be before replacing?
