Got the frame on jig and am starting to square to it.

Found the engine center line front and rear.

Get it perfect then the rest of the frame is gone.

I can just imagine any bike cringing at your shop doorway...any who have entered have not been the 'same' when they exit...... subscribed and watching.....

When you center the frame on the jig. Will that not center the motor?

NO The frame in most cases will be twisted!

They only square certain points of the frames like the motor mounts and trans mounts. The rest will be just thrown in there to meet these points in there jigs.

Then if you have a bike that has been wrecked then the frame can be totally out of whack! The last build I did was that way! I believe it had been dropped on every side of the frame and was so far out!

Finding the centerline of the engine is the part on some bikes that may be tricky! You have to use your head on that.

I got the engine square in the jig. Welded braces to all the motor mount tabs.

Now to remove the rest of the frame.

Why the big gap from the back of the engine and the rear wheel?
