+1 on the new manifold, looks sweet. on the air cleaner, you could always modify a flat type VW air cleaner to work.

hey Bob, late coming into this discussion, but other than the obvious visual checks on the weld quality (almost useless, but better than not looking), i'd look to make sure the rockers are not riding on a threaded portion of the rocker bolts, but rather a solid unthreaded portion. i also seem to rem...
