SELF INTRODUCTION: Hey...I live in South Jersey (the Super Fund State) work as an Operating Engineer local825.Besides bikes I love to fish the surf.I have my current & seemingly endless project a BSA 750 Rocket3, a 72 Honda CB750,79 Kawasaki KZ1000, 48 Simplex, & a 62 Norton Atlas engine

Lookin real nice man.Cannt wait to see what wheels & other parts that are gonna be going on this.

i really havent thought that far ahead yet im thinking spokes for wheels as far as front ends i want to try a leafer but i dont like the way they look when theyre long i dont know

Ya cann't go wrong with spokes.I agree about the leafer if there's to much rake or up stretch.

SELF INTRODUCTION: Name is Max living in scotland ,and building my first bike, Which is derived from a buellM2 Cyclone..Started with an engine and a Drop seat frame wich was made to my spec by a more experienced builder. would like to learn more about the skills and techniques required to build a frame so I value being a member here...Cheers Max

I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

a better pic of the rear motor mount through the seatpost . moves the seatpost back some. and took motor out today to work on the bottom rails was way easier to get out didnt even have to take the plates off the motor just tilted front up and out it came should be easier to get back in after paint also got front mounts made and installed now everything except bottom rails and axl plates tacked in i need to finish shapeing the axl plates fit the lower wishbone and fit the lower rails hopeing to have everything tacked together this weekend so i can get it out and finish weld everything

oh ya im thinking springer i just love the way they look and the second one should be easier and i want to change a few things a lil but thanks for the sugestions . im thinkin im going to have to build a bober next so i can try a leafer.theres just not enough hours in the day ya know

Dude....you better start collecting parts for this thing soon.The frame looks like its gonna be done in no time.

i know im thinking im gonna finish the frame maybe the front end and get back on the other two i gotta finish something so i can make room for some side work im needing the cash so i can buy more parts

i was haveing difficulties locating the lower rails because of the lower motormount i couldnt get in the jig with the motor on the frame to get measurements dam motor too wide spent a couple weeks lookin for a stock frame to make a motor mount jig and came up empty. after finding the thread on frame jigs i saw someones post on a triumph and realized i could do that i have the motor .so i made a jig off the motor so i could make a jig to replace the motor but let me work arround it it worked perfect i already had the front and rear mounts in place so i only needed to place the lowers should be more progress now

no sorry been swamped at work booted the old lady to the curb had to put the dog down been just general hell i have started welding everything together but havent had time to post i think at the moment i just have to finish shape the axl plates and weld them in then the frame will be done . i got the frame all tacked real good while it was in the jig then pulled it out and welded everything i did leave the motor jig in just to make sure it wasnt moveing arround then i poped it back in the jig so i can get the axl plates in and lined up properly more soon i hope
