SELF INTRODUCTION: The Biker Mistress, Blonde, blue eyes, English Lady bike builder and previously a member of the CBH. I run my own custom bike and chop shop (MazChopz) on the south west coast of England. I have been building custom bikes for over 35 years and have built some 130 bikes so far. I am happy to share my knowledge and "expertise" and also hope to learn from the other forum members. I look forward to meeting up with many of my friends from the CBH and especially to seeing how Dan got on with his Knuck.

So tonight I got the seatbase cut out and trial fitted.....then decided the rear fender didn't look right any more... :doh:

So I dug out an old one, quickly added a section down the middle to make it wide enough and put that on to see what it was like....

Note the rear wheel is adjusted as far forward as it will go .....

Let me know what you think of the rear fender guys - the other one is back 2 pages...... :think:

SELF INTRODUCTION: I was on the last board as bonustoolkit. I have changed that to my given name.
I started a project build there " File and Fit." I paln to continue that when I go back home in Dec. 2011. I first joined the board when Gary W had it in the year 2005. That was the time I really gained an interest in building chops. I have a long way to go, compared to some here.

Hans has the pics...and good taste. But, with only 2 choices, page11 gets my vote if you trim some of the fat.

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hi Dan, thanks for your time and energy spent on this new board. I hope you will give me a waiver on the email account, I have used gmail so long I don't have a clue what my service provider account is.
I just returned home from a 2 week trip in New Mexico, have a few good pix, can't wait to share my off-highway traveling. Got to put 1400 miles on the scoot.

I like the style of the fender in the pic Hans posted. Tight to the tire. Probably very hard to mount to a single-sided swingarm.
The red fender just doesn't do it, looks all wrong.
The earlier fender is better, but looks too big to me, BUT, I am not the one with the vision of the completed bike
in their head.

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hey...I live in South Jersey (the Super Fund State) work as an Operating Engineer local825.Besides bikes I love to fish the surf.I have my current & seemingly endless project a BSA 750 Rocket3, a 72 Honda CB750,79 Kawasaki KZ1000, 48 Simplex, & a 62 Norton Atlas engine

If you run the red one, I would kick the wheel back some & trim the fender close to the end of the seat.

SELF INTRODUCTION: I am an expat tennessee hillbilly and retired us navy engineer livin' in Scotland and I have a love of old cars , trucks, motorcycles and most any other machinery !

I dont know if I can think of enough to say to reach the two hundred charactor minimun set by the mods , but I will persevere

SELF INTRODUCTION: Hello guys and gals, working on my 1979 honda cb750 bobber chopper build plus many other projects etc. I have two workshops at home that i built so i can build bikes and all sorts of parts, and i mainly do auto body work and restoration repairs etc.

Thanks guys, I did set the wheel way too far forward (trying to figure out the amount of adjustment on the eccentric) so its not positioned where it should be in relation to the fender.....

I'm still not sure what I want to do with the fender so I'll probably hold fire while I finish of the gas tank..... :think:

SELF INTRODUCTION: Name is Max living in scotland ,and building my first bike, Which is derived from a buellM2 Cyclone..Started with an engine and a Drop seat frame wich was made to my spec by a more experienced builder. would like to learn more about the skills and techniques required to build a frame so I value being a member here...Cheers Max

not sure yet, got a few options....this is a Domme-Punk bike after all, street-fighter motor, long girder front end, split top-tube diamond frame...... :shifty:

I'm probably gonna break all the taboos and upset just about everybody with this one.... :hand:

AND I have yet to decide on the colour scheme...well actually I have already chosen a couple of options but now I'm not sure which..... :doh: so many choices :confusion-shrug:

SELF INTRODUCTION: chewie from perth western australia. i'm triking up a vw and chopping up a yamaha and repairing broken tools. jeez 200 characters is a lot. GOT A WIFE AND KIDS SPENDING ALL MY PLAY MOEY ON FOOD AND CLOTHES AND OTHER USELESS SHIT sorry bout the caps put them on for the code thing

the bike is all angles but both guards are round

That got me thinking (always dangerous :shifty: ) so I've design a new rear fender from flat steel which follows the lines of the rear seat support ...... :think:
I've started cutting out a template and hopefully get it made over the weekend...also found a suitable rear light which will work well with it..... :banana-dance:

This bike is getting more and more Chop-fighter....a real junkyard bitch :laughing-rolling:

Started cutting out the steel for the yokes for the new girder today, also did some more work on the tank...might take me a bit longer to do than I figured as I've taken on widening and repairing a tank for a good friend...... :doh:

Had a very busy day out in the wrokshop fabricating panels for the new tank, may even get some pics done soon :snooty: Biggest problem with this tank is fitting the aero-style filler as its the original Yammy one and requires a "sump" and breather system........trust me to do things the hard way.... :hand: :doh:

Still working on my friend's tank and also machining up some billet exhaust finishers for another friend's 1340...... :think: a woman's work is never done :laughing-rolling:
